City of Charlotte and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Park and Recreation will be providing a limited number of free air conditioner units to qualifying low-income residents.
Please note: as of 8/26/2025, the number of applications has exceeded available inventory. Our waitlist is now full.

- Must be located in Mecklenburg County.
- Must be at or below 60% Area Median Income household income.
